Praise in high places for Candiani Denim Store

The former editor of Rolling Stone Italia, Michele Lupi, who now works as a style consultant for luxury brand Tod’s, has spoken of his admiration for the Candiani Denim Store in Milan’s Piazza Mentana.
In a recent discussion with The Financial Times about taste and style, Mr Lupi revealed that the last piece of clothing he had bought was a pair of made-to-measure white jeans from the Candiani store.
He said he liked the store because it has a workshop onsite and displays garment-making machinery in the window and the words ‘We will make your jeans come true’ above the door.
Mr Lupi added that he is also a fan of the kiosk bar that Candiani runs in the square, describing it as a good place for an aperitif in the evening.
