Lycra Adaptiv makes its denim debut with C&A

Lycra-made stretch fibre Adaptiv has reached the denim market for the first time in men’s jeans produced for European fashion retailer C&A.

The slim-tapered Flex jean style is available in four washes, two blue and two grey, priced at €49.99 or just under $55 apiece. On launch, they were stocked by 190 C&A stores, as well as in its online store.

“Denim needs to be stylish, durable and of course comfortable,” C&A chief merchandising officer, Daniel Jimenez, commented.

“At C&A, we are driven by curiosity and passion to create new and better experiences for our customers.

"We are proud to be the first company on the market to provide denim with the new technology by Lycra.”

The fabric content is 73% cotton, 19% polyester, 6% elastomultiester and 2% Lycra Adaptiv elastane.
