Jeanologia logged ‘record’ water efficiency in 2023
Valencian technology developer Jeanologia has marked World Water Day, March 22, by reporting record-level water efficiency and reduced toxic emissions in its environmental profit and loss account for 2023.
The company said its “technological advances and services” saved 20,265,581 cubic metres of contaminated water last year. For comparison, it saved 19 million cubic metres of water in 2022.
It also notably debuted its new Air Fiber Washer alongside Spain-based fashion group Inditex at ITMA in Milan. The machine can extract as much as 60% of microfibres per industrial wash cycle, according to Jeanologia.
Founder and chief executive, Enrique Silla, commented: “The global context urges us to unite and accelerate action and, on a date as significant as World Water Day, we want to offer our example as inspiration and invite other companies to join our Mission Zero.”
