Secret Garden homecoming for Ian Berry
Contemporary artist Ian Berry will be showing a new version of his Secret Garden installation in London, the first time a full version has been displayed in the capital.

Originally from Huddersfield but now living in London, Mr Berry uses offcuts and waste jeans to create portraits, landscapes and set designs in denim, with commissions from artists, brands and organisations around the world.

The Secret Garden includes roses, cacti, wisteria and dangling vines “and some surprises”, exploring themes of sustainability in the textile industries and the importance of access to green spaces for young minds.

Ian Berry said: “I’ve been working on some new elements to it and I’m excited to show the new installation.”

Supported by AGI Denim, the installation will be housed in the Garden Museum in Central London from July 13 to September 8. Entry is free.
