Head of football development and strategy at current National Football League (NFL) champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, Connor Barwin, was a guest speaker at the Urban Outfitters campus in mid-July.

Mr Barwin, who was a linebacker for the Eagles and a number of other NFL teams during his professional playing career, also runs an organisation called the Make The World Better Foundation.

It was about this work, which funds improvements to public and community spaces in Philadelphia, that he spoke to the team at Urban Outfitters.

Afterwards, the fashion company said: “As a Philly-based brand, it was inspiring to hear how Make The World Better is investing back into the neighbourhoods we get to call home.”
