Architecture and volume define Free People’s spring range
We The Free, the denim line of Urban Outfitters-owned Free People label, is riding on the success of its barrel cut jeans in its Spring 2026 collection. In addition to traditional indigo, the colour palette includes khaki, amber and a vibrant red.
In recent financial reports for the Urban Outfitters group, which includes Anthropologie, FP Movement and Nuuly in addition to urban Outfitters and Free People, the lifestyle brand has seen sales grow 5% during the holiday season last December. For the 11 months ending on December 31, 2024, the group’s wholesale segment net sales were up 15% “driven by an increase in Free People wholesale sales primarily due to an increase in sales to specialty customers and departments stores”.
The group opened 58 new retail locations in the same period including 36 for Free People.
