Advance Denim crosses new cradle-to-cradle threshold
Chinese denim mill Advance Denim has announced that it has successfully achieved Cradle-to-Cradle Gold Standard 4.1 in material health. This, it said, “is the most ambitious and actionable standard yet for developing denim that is safe, circular and responsibly made”.

The products that have received the certification include denims made from 100% regenerative or organic cotton, as well as blends containing 94 to 99% cotton with 1 to 6% stretch fibres. The certified fabrics are dyed indigo or sulfur, or are delivered in RFD (Ready for Dye) form. Some fifty references have been approved by Cradle to Cradle.
