Levi’s rolls out cutting-edge comfort in 501s

Made from SolucellAir, a technology developed by BYR International, the hollow-core yarn structure wicks away moisture and improves breathability in the heat, while also trapping warmth in cooler environments, creating a personal microclimate that adapts to every season.
“Innovation at its best disrupts everything else except the consumers’ experience,” commented Paul Dillinger, Levi’s head of global design innovation. He added that the 501 Thermodapt “seamlessly integrates the technology into Levi’s visual DNA, so much so that the innovation is almost invisible.”
The pure cotton construction of Thermodapt 501s stays true to the classic look and feel of Levi’s jeans, while offering superior softness and moisture management without the odour retention often associated with synthetics, the company said.
