Levi’s brings BioBlack to the mainstream
One of the early adopters of BioBlack, a black pigment derived from wood waste, Levi’s is now introducing it in mainstream ranges. This marks a major milestone for Nature Coating’s low-impact and non-toxic carbon black alternative.

The new series of products made using the BioBlack pigment are available in the UK market, and will progressively be made available in the United States and beyond. Key styles include Red Tab label 567 and 578 jeans and a jacket.

This confirms Nature Coating’s ability to meet commercial scale demands, and sends a positive signal that a transition to more sustainable solutions is possible, starting with cleaner dyes and pigments.
