Textile recycling innovator Circ has formed a partnership with Xinxiang Bailu Chemical Fiber Co. for the production of viscose incorporating cellulose pulp derived from textile waste supplied by Circ.

Xinxiang Bailu produces manmade cellulosic fibres and spandex. It is said to have the largest viscose production capacity in the world.

In the past year or so, Circ has formed partnerships with Arvind in India (for both recycled polyester and lyocell) and Tangshan Sanyou, another major Chinese MMCF producer. The company based in Virgina also has plans to build a recycling facility in France and is working with Portuguese company Selenis on scaling up production of textile-to-textile recycled polyester.
