Diesel has said it will work with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) to make sure that, by 2025, at least 50% of the cotton it sources is “more responsible”. 

BCI is a Geneva-based body that campaigns for increased production and consumption of “more sustainable cotton”, by which it means cotton that offers a fairer deal and education opportunities to farmers and has a lower impact on the environment than standard cotton.

In addition to BCI cotton, Diesel will include organic cotton and recycled cotton under the “more responsible” banner.
