Innovation in performance and sustainability is expanding the array of options in elastic fibres available to denim manufacturers and brands, according to an extensive feature we have published in Inside Denim Issue Two.

The article, which is available to read here, looks at developments from some of the big players in the field, including Lycra, Asahi Kasei and Hyosung.

From biobased to recycled, the new fibres with lighter environmental footprints could make stretch  denim even more popular among consumers and brands.
