North Carolina-based denim producer Cone Denim has appointed Amie Borges to the role of senior vice-president for commercial strategy. She will lead the global sales team and work closely with the product, operations and manufacturing teams.

Ms Borges previously held leadership roles at a number of apparel brands, most recently at denim brand 7 for all Mankind.
