Denim suppliers make strong show at MIM 2022

The 18th edition of sourcing trade show Maroc in Mode (MIM) will be taking place this March 30 & 31.

The Casablanca-based event will be held in a new venue, the El Jadida International Exhibition Center. Organised by the Moroccan Association of Textile and garment Industries or AMITH, the acronym for its French-language name (Association Marocaine des Industries du textile et de l’Habillement), the two-day trade show will also showcase a series of conferences and talks on sourcing and sustainability.

Organisers have chosen to focus on sustainability, or Dayem, in Arabic, as the main theme for this edition and beyond. ‘Dayem Morocco’ encapsulates AMITH’s vision for the future of fashion made in Morocco. The country is the seventh most important supplier to Europe, according to the trade organisation.

MIM exhibitors span the entire supply chain from fabrics to services. Denim industry suppliers will be making a strong presence, among these, Settavex-Evlox from Spain, W Denim from Turkey, and Morocco-based Blue Fingers and Larimode.

Conference programme can be found here (in French).
