Sapphire presents advanced fabric capsule with Cordura

In a partnership with Cordura, Invista’s branded nylon, the two companies presented a capsule collection of utilitarian products that highlight the latest Cordura NyCo fabrics.
The collection covers a wide array of styles, from workwear to smart casual and from outdoor to elevated athleisure. All these segments are believed to benefit from the durability of Cordura nylon 6.6 combined with the wearer comfort and softness of cotton. Closer fitting or more active styles feature elastic properties either through mechanical stretch constructions or with the addition of a stretch fibre. Overall, more than 20 different Cordura NyCo fabrics are featured in the range, including canvases, twills and ripstops, and in weights spanning 180 to 350 gsm.
“This new collection pushes the boundaries of comfort, flex, durability and ultimately sustainability due to the built-in longevity of Cordura NyCo fabrics,” said Deirdre Jennings, business development manager for Sapphire Finishing Mills Limited.
“This capsule is an opportunity to bring products to life, it leads to higher quality interaction with customers and can inspire some compelling story-telling,” said Cindy McNaull, head of business development for Cordura.
