Lycra ushers in lastingFIT 2.0 with recycled fibres
Exhibiting at Kingpins NY, on today, The Lycra Company is introducing its latest innovation for denims at the show. Lycra lastingFIT 2.0 technology is part of the company’s Lycra XTRA LIFE portfolio, a range engineered to deliver different levels of elasticity, long-lasting recovery, a soft hand and authentic denim aesthetics. This new technology is said to have recycled content.

Collaborations between The Lycra Company and mills on display at the show include Naveena Denim and Sapphire Finishing that feature Lycra lastingFIT 2.0 technology. New Resolutions, a collection developed with Naveena Denim, explores new solutions to design future-fit sustainable denims. Crossroads, a range designed in partnership with Sapphire Finishing Mills, is inspired by the great outdoors and future utility trends. These products also feature Lycra EcoMade fibre and their timeless designs seek to offer a combination of performance, versatility, longevity and thermal comfort.

The Lycra Company’s strategic marketing director for denim, Ebru Ozaydin, commented: “Consumers are concerned about reducing their environmental footprint and are increasingly investing in higher quality, more durable garments. Longer-lasting fibres can contribute to extended garment wear life.”
