Denim brands including Diesel and SuperDry are among the first companies to partner with e-commerce company Amazon in a new initiative to give members direct access the chance to shop for clothes and a range of other products through the Amazon Prime app.

The initiative is open to consumers in ten metropolitan areas in the US. In “select ZIP codes”, shoppers will be able to use the Amazon app to buy products from SuperDry, Diesel and others and receive the items the same day.

In some cases, there will also be the option to buy online and pick items up in store. The service is free for Prime members spending $25 or more.

Additional retailers are to join the service in the months ahead.
