New commercial lead for Levi Strauss in Latin America
 
                        Fernanda Pirosanto has just been named general manager for Levi’s Latin American cluster which covers Andes region countries Peru, Bolivia and Chile. 
The Argentine national is the first woman to lead business in the area for the brand, commented Rui Carlos Da Silva Araujo, senior vice president for Levi’s LATAM Cluster. 
The company is experiencing an increase in sales in this region which were up 18% (constant currency) in the second quarter of 2022 over the same period a year earlier. This, the company said, builds on strong performance in the first quarter of 2022, notably in Mexico, Brazil and Chile. 
Before joining the denim brand, Ms Pirosanto was general manager for Argentine fashion label Delaostia and had previously set up the Latin American sales network for jewellery brand Pandora.
