Levi Strauss expands retail network in East Asia Pacific
San Francisco-based denim and casualwear group Levi Strauss & Co has announced plans to open new stores and refresh existing retail locations across the East Asia Pacific region.

The company has said it plans to open 100+ stores within the first half of 2022 in Thailand alone. Retail expansion is also on the company’s map for Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. The company plans to upgrade some of its existing stores in the region into its ‘NextGen Indigo’ store format that feature interactive digital services and perks.

Select stores will be adding in-store tailoring to their services.

“We are gearing up to make strategic changes to our business model and operations, and we are embracing the technologies of tomorrow to power innovation and better serve our consumers and deliver greater value to stakeholders,” said Nuholt Huisamen, managing director and senior vice president for East Asia Pacific.
