Ganni builds on Levi’s natural dye experience
Copenhagen-based label Ganni has celebrated the global release of its Grow Up collaboration with Levi’s, first debuted in ‘see now, buy now’ format during fashion week in the Danish capital in early August.

This third co-created effort from the two brands comprises eight denim styles, each made from a minimum blend of 55% certified organic cotton and dyed using natural pigments from plants and minerals. Sizes available range from XS to 3XL and dresses, maxi skirts, halter tops and jackets all feature.

Creative director at Ganni, Ditte Reffstrup, called the capsule “a testament to the power of working together”, describing how the two brands had shared a similar vision from the start. By harnessing Levi’s more advanced knowledge of natural dyestuffs, she told Vogue, Ganni was also able to move past issues it had previously experienced with dye stickiness on cotton.
