Sip Italy, a developer of automated sewing machinery for jeanswear, will host a private open house at its new headquarters in Verona between June 9 and 14.
The event has been planned to run concurrently alongside the International Textile Machinery Association (ITMA) exhibition in Milan, due to take place from June 8 to 14. Held every four years, ITMA was last staged in Barcelona in 2019.
Due to spatial limitations, Sip will only be able to show 20% of its full product range in Milan (hall nine, stand C201), it said. By reserving a day to visit its plant, roughly 1.5 hours away by high-speed train or a 2.5-hour drive by private bus, however, guests will be able to participate in discussions with on-site experts in research, development and technical production to advance their knowledge and understanding, with specialist training opportunities also available for Sip Italy partners.
The manufacturer requests that interested parties contact either chief executive Giorgio Morandin or sales director David Noli to organise their travel in good time, as only so many guests can be accommodated per day.
Sip announced the appointment of Muhammad Buksh to the role of senior technical and sales manager, based in Karachi, on May 5.
