Retail group C&A has launched a denim collection in Brazil using cotton that it describes as certified and traceable.

Using blockchain technology, it says it is able to trace the fibres in the garments in the collection from the cotton farms of origin all the way to C&A shops.

C&A Brazil said its aim in this project was to show clear evidence to consumers of care for the environment and for workers’ rights in putting this denim collection together.
