Confidence at Levi's about navigating headwinds

07/07/2023

Levi Strauss & Co has announced revenues of just over $3 billion for the first half of its business year, the six months ending May 28, 2023. This figure indicates a decline of 1.2% compared to the same six months a year earlier.

Chief executive, Chip Bergh, said pressure remained on the wholesale market in the US and he said Levi Strauss was pursuing initiatives to stabilise the business and drive market share up.

“ We are confident in our ability to navigate near-term headwinds and remain as optimistic as ever about the company’s future,” he said.
