Dutch denim brand Kings of Indigo has added several new pieces made with the Japanese shibori natural indigo dyeing technique.

The method involves knotting, folding and twisting fabrics just before the dye bath, leading to unique patterns and textures.

Each article, part of the company's For the Love of Indigo collection, include a selection of “one-of-a-kind” tailored shorts and long-sleeved shirts. Kings of Indigo was recently saved from bankruptcy by Germany-based Kathrin and Sebastian Proft, following an uncertain period towards the end of 2022.
