Waiper readying rare Levi’s 506xx jacket for sale

Fukuoka-based military surplus store Waiper has revealed plans to sell a rare, true vintage Levi’s 506xx trucker jacket in men’s size 4XL, a Japanese size 48.
First issued in 1905, the jackets were typically made in nine-ounce, double-strength, unsanforised denim by Amoskeag Manufacturing Company in the US.
Sizes 46 and up notably all share the same T-shaped seaming at the back, known to collectors as a “T-back”.
The jacket will be priced at just under $350 and Waiper will announce the sale via YouTube in mid-September, local media said.
