Transformers ED to touch down in Istanbul next

The organisation held its very first in-person Transformers ED Brazil in São Paulo back in August.
With support from denim fabric and apparel manufacturer Ereks Blue Matters, the Turkish-language event will deliver a series of expert-led seminars over three hours between 8.30 am and 12 pm local time. The focus will be on “sustainability literacy” and the supply chain, centred on the demands of the domestic denim industry. Proceedings have been planned to coincide with Sustainability Talks Istanbul on the same day.
Transformers released its latest report, which explored the disconnect between denim’s pursuit of Science Based Targets (SBTs) and supply chain equity and feasibility, on November 13.
