Denim set to keep its place in luxury fashion

The show manager of Denim Première Vision (Denim PV), Fabio Adami Dalla Val, has said that denim’s place in the world of high-end fashion will continue.

Following the most recent edition of the event, which took place in Milan on November 22 and 23, Mr Adami Dalla Val said there had been “palpable excitement in the aisles” and that the quality of products on show from exhibitors was “of a very high level, across the board, regardless of origins”.

He said this had convinced him that denim will keep its “prominent spot in the luxury world”.

The Denim PV show manager explained that denim industry was in a state of transition, but he said the same was true of the entire global textile industry as it strives to achieve “sustainable, high-quality, cutting-edge production.”

In total, the event hosted 69 exhibitors and welcomed 2,322 visitors, an increase of 16% compared to last November’s edition of Denim PV.
