Achim Berg to advise Mango's C-suite in official role
A former senior partner at consultancy firm McKinsey & Company, Achim Berg, has joined Spanish fashion retailer Mango as an external adviser to its chief executive, Toni Ruiz Tubau, and wider management team, effective May 1.
During his almost 25 years at McKinsey, Dr Berg played a pivotal role in spearheading the work of its global apparel, fashion and luxury division.
He also served as co-editor of fashion news publication The Business of Fashion’s ‘State of Fashion’ report for seven years.
“Adding Achim to our team of external advisers is a significant step for Mango,” Mr Ruiz commented.
“His unparalleled experience and innovative vision for the fashion industry will be instrumental in refining our growth and internalisation strategy, as well as advancing our sustainability agenda.”
