Denim PV pushes creativity and sustainability

13/06/2024
Held last week, the denim show which has made Milan its home, featured 90 exhibitors from 19 countries. Visitors attending numbered 2,037, and came from 41 different countries. This marks a slight downturn compared to the 2,322 visitors who attended PV Denim’s show last November. Representatives from major brands, including many luxury houses, are among the list of attendees.

In addition to spaces dedicated to the heritage and future of jeans, show organisers introduced a new eco-programme known as ‘A better way’ which seeks to give greater visibility to the sustainable measures taken by the manufacturers that exhibit at Première Vision shows. At PV Denim, 18 companies made it into the new programme. Developed by independent experts, it is based on five key criteria: social initiatives, impact of production sites, traceability, product composition and processes, sustainability, and end-of-life of the finished product.

Denim Première Vision will be returning to Superstudio Più in Milan on December 4 and 5 2024 with the collections and trends for S/S 2026.
