Synovance attracts new funding
French biotech specialist Synovance has received new funding from the Île-de-France region’s SME incubator PM’up that supports start-ups planning on setting up sustainable industrial facilities in the country’s capital region.

The organisation has awarded a €700,000 subsidy to Synovance that it said would “substantially contribute towards completing and making operational our 10,000-litre industrial demonstrator line for indigo bioproduction”.

The company co-founded by COO Efthimia Lioliou has thus far raised a total of €3 million from the Île-de-France region, Bpifrance and the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).
