Rag & Bone keen for global expansion

US-brand Rag & Bone has opened a store in Sydney, which it says “represents a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion”.
Paul Smith, managing director of Signal Brands Australia, said: "We're excited to introduce rag & bone to a new audience and provide a place where our customers can explore the latest collections in person."
The company, which was bought by Guess in April 2023, operates a denim takeback programme, where customers can take in jeans from any brand to be recycled.
It also offers Miramar, a range of textiles including fleece and terry printed to look like denim.
Rag & Bone directly operates around 35 stores in the US and two in the UK and is also available in boutiques, department stores and through e-commerce globally. In 2023, it generated revenue of around $250 million.
