WHP Global submits offer for Guess shares

Fashion brand Guess has received a proposal from partner WHP Global to buy its outstanding shares, other than those held by Paul Marciano, Maurice Marciano and Carlos Alberini.

The deal assumes there will be no material change to the company.

Guess has formed a special committee of directors to evaluate the proposal, with the assistance of outside financial and legal advisors.

In April 2024, Guess partnered WHP Global to buy New York-based fashion brand Rag & Bone.
