Brazilian manufacturer welcomes high-level visit from Repreve
Brazilian denim manufacturer Capricórnio Têxtil recently welcomed a delegation of senior people from recycled performance fibre developer Repreve to its factory in São Carlo.
Repreve chief executive, Eddie Ingle, led the delegation to the factory, which is 250 kilometres from São Paulo.
The textile manufacturer said the exchanges during the visit had been valuable and had strengthened the partnership between the two companies.
It said working with Repreve had also helped strengthened its own commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Capricórnio Têxtil has been producing denim for 75 years. It has offices in São Paulo, a showroom at the city’s Denim City initiative and a factory in the town of Bragança Paulista, in addition to the one in São Carlos.
It currently produces 60 million metres of denim fabric per year and has around 850 employees in total.
