A total of 83 exhibitors, including suppliers of denim, took part in the first ever Tokyo Textile Scope exhibition, which took place in the Japanese capital from May 14-16.

Japan Fashion Week was the organiser of the event, which ran at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center.  They had on display fabrics for the spring-summer 2026 fashion season.

The organisers said they wanted the event to serve as a platform for innovation as well as for Japanese textile craftsmanship.
