Industry kudos for Refiberd

Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) and PDS Ventures have announced the recipient of its Trailblazer Programme for 2025. Refiberd’s automated sorting system for textiles was chosen from a short-list of nine candidates. 

As part of the award, the company based in Cupertino, California, will receive $200,000 from PDS Ventures, as well as guidance on product development and commercialisation supplied by Positive Materials, the apparel manufacturing group’s division dedicated to innovation.

Runners-up for the prize were MannyAI, a supply-chain management platform (UK), and Matereal, a company developing a non-petrochemical polyurethane alternative (US).
