750,000 jeans as insulation: Carlisle aims for growth

Building materials supplier Carlisle Companies is aiming for growth in its denim insulation business with the acquisition of Bonded Logic, a manufacturer of insulation products with locations in Arizona and Georgia.
Carlisle said the purchase will help it to grow Henry UltraTouch denim insulation, which was named a 2025 finalist for The Home Depot Merchandising Innovation Award.
Henry UltraTouch is made from 80% recycled denim from post-consumer jeans, keeping 750,000 pairs of jeans annually out of landfill, it claims. The products can be installed in the same places as fibreglass and is described as “a cost-effective way to improve energy efficiency in the home”.
Carlisle reported revenue of $1.4 billion for the second quarter.
