Fresh start for Aarvee Denims

26/08/2025
Under new ownership and management since 2024, Indian denim producer Aarvee has announced a change of name to Varvee Global Limited and strategy under the helm of Jaimin Kailash Gupta. The founder of men’s fashion brand Barcelona acquired the company this past September.

In an announcement, the board said that in June of this year the company had paid all outstanding bank loans, which now allows it to start afresh. Mr Gupta has already launched a number of initiatives, including upgrading looms and introducing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to “make our operations smoother, more efficient and transparent,” he said.

His key focus areas going forward are on sustainability and operational efficiency, he wrote in a LinkedIn post.

Founded in 1988, the mill has a capacity to produce 35 million metres of denim fabrics and 18 million metres of non-denim fabrics. Its main facility is Narol, whose activities span yarn warping to fabric finishing.
