Sapphire merges two spinning divisions
Pakistan-based group Sapphire has decided to merge two of its yarn-making companies, Reliance Cotton Spinning Mills Ltd (RCSML) and Sapphire Fibres Ltd (SFL), into a single entity under the SFL name. Both are listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The group was founded in 1970 and started as a spinner. It is now present in four sectors, energy, dairy and retail, in addition to its vast textiles business unit, which spans denims and jeans to home textiles.

Sapphire Textile Mills, the holding company, reported sales of nearly €250 million in its FY 2024 (to end of June), with a gross profit of  some €30 million.
