Diamond Denim enters into regenerative cotton deal

Diamond Denim, part of Pakistan’s Sapphire Group, has joined hands with South Asian Sourcing in the roll out of a new initiative in Bahawalnagar, Punjab province, called the Regen Cotton Cultivation Project.
The new programme will be implemented alongside 1,000 smallholder farmers in 25 villages local to Bahawalnagar. It will set out to teach regenerative agricultural techniques from foundational training through upskilling and organised mentorship.
Diamond described the partnership as “ground-breaking”. The objective is to establish a “sustainable supply chain, leveraging indigenous resources”, it said.
