Hyosung updates stretch options for denim

Hyosung TNC will showcase several innovative stretch offerings for denim at Kingpins Amsterdam, including its expanded Regen Bio Spandex offering comprised of new Regen Bio+ and Regen Bio Max Spandex, both made with a higher amount of renewable resource content.
The denim team will also inform attendees on the transition of the fibre’s feedstock from corn to sugarcane, which enables lower carbon emissions without sacrificing performance.
The company will also highlight its RCS-certified, 100% recycled Regen Spandex made from industrial waste; Creora 3D Max Spandex, which uses a small portion of spandex, allowing the garment to be recycled, according to the Jeans Redesign Project; and Creora Slip Free Spandex with improved seam slippage.
Simon Hong, Hyosung’s global denim marketing director, said: “Brands take diverse approaches to sustainability from recycled to bio-based to recyclable materials, so it’s essential that we provide solutions tailored to their unique needs.”
Hyosung is also continuing its sponsorship of the Kingpins Future Fit Forum (FFF) and Denim Talk powered by Creora. Now in its seventh edition, FFF is a curated display and discussion on what fits might look like in the future.
A Denim Talk, curated by Michelle Branch and the FFF designers, will take place on the Kingpins stage, October 15 at 15:00.
