Cryo Black and zero virgin cotton lead Siddiqson’s developments

Siddiqsons’ spring/summer 2027 collection introduces 'zero virgin cotton' fabrics, engineered from post-industrial waste cotton and viscose blends, as well as an expanded Indigo Innovation Platform, which it claims achieves up to 40% water and 20% indigo savings during dyeing.

Among the developments the Pakistan-based mill will highlight at Kingpins Amsterdam next week is Cryo Black, developed to achieve a deep, lasting black with a reduced environmental footprint, with the range also embracing cool greys (pictured).

The high-performance stretch stories remain a cornerstone, led by Lycra, Dyneema and Stretch Canvas. The S/S 27 collection also includes developments like Double Indigo, Faux Knit and Reversible Denim, blending heritage-inspired structures with modern technologies.

Fibre blends in the collection include Smart Linen, Recycled Cotton, EcoVero and Tencel, as well as partnerships such as Circulose, Marmara Hemp and Poly Clear, which “strengthen the pursuit of eco-responsible materials and low-impact technologies”.

Abbas Jan, director of sales and marketing at Siddiqsons, said: “The customers still seem to be cautious going into S/S 27, balancing cost sensitivity against the clear demand for sustainability-driven innovation. Despite external pressures and tariff fluctuations, our collections provide clients the confidence, novelty and reliability they seek.”
