Former Kontoor exec joins One Jeanswear

One Jeanswear Group, part of the Premier Brands Group, has announced the appointment of Chris Waldeck as its chief executive. The former president and co-chief operating officer at Kontoor Brands, and senior adidas executive, has over 30 years of experience working for global apparel brands. “His expertise in both product and marketing, coupled with his international experience, makes him uniquely positioned to guide One Jeanswear Group into its next phase of growth,” commented Morris Tbeile, chairman and CEO of Premier Brands Group Holdings. 

“Together with the OJG team and our partners, we will shape a clear strategic direction, accelerate growth, drive innovation, and strengthen our brands’ connection with consumers,” added Mr Waldeck. 

A multibrand and white brand company based in New York City, One Jeanswear Group’s portfolio of apparel labels includes Gloria Vanderbilt and Vintage America along with licencing rights to Nine West Jeans and Lucky Brands.
