Iconic all-cotton tie up
It is the described as the alliance of utility and style, Barbour and Levi’s have joined forces to create a capsule collection bridging the two historic workwear brands’ rich DNA. British stalwart Barbour is famous for its waxed cotton jackets which have been revisited with distinctive Levi’s details such as arcuate-shaped pocket flaps and a back tab modelled on vintage Levi’s jeans. Another jacket features triple topstitching and a resin wash to create a worn-in look.

Key bottoms in the co-branded collection include loose-cut jeans and pleated corduroys, both with a discreet tartan trim and a representation of fishermen and miners printed on the pocket bags.

A series of upcycled (read patched) styles made from old Barbours and Levi’s is also part of the line-up. The items go on sale on October 30.

The campaign was shot by photographer Tbone Fletcher and styled by Tirino Yspol and features not professional models but genuine artisans. These include speaker maker Shivas Howard Brown of Friendly Pressure, ceramist Lev Rosenbush, cabinet-maker Andu Masebo and jewellery designer Ellie Mercer.
