Intricate designs highlight Jeanologia’s laser prowess
Technology company Jeanologia has demonstrated the capabilities of its laser and G2 Indra ozone technologies with a collection inspired by the power of the Mediterranean Sea and the essence of its hometown, Valencia.
Following the devastating floods that hit the city in October 2024, the Mediterranean Soul collection is a tribute to resilience, nature and creativity, its creative director, Carme Santacruz, told Inside Denim.
“Mediterranean Soul is a story of resilience and creativity brought to life through denim,” she said, adding that Jeanolgia’s employees had been affected. “The collection pays homage to the people.”
Garments in the collection show the intricate level of the laser, etching words onto the fabric, while landscapes and natural textures are also brought to life, boosted by the ATMOS process.
“This [the collection] is the language that designers speak, so it’s a way of inspiring people and showing what is possible,” she added. “Working in this way also contributes to our own knowhow, as we test the machines and the designs, so they are ready to be reproduced.”
For the recent Kingpins show in Amsterdam, Jeanologia also worked on collaborative projects for the Made in Espana initiative: Constantly Moving, Always Better by Recover x Jeanologia, and Garments of Time by Jeanologia x Textil Santanderina x Pinter Group.
The company is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and has installed around 10,000 machines worldwide.
