Archroma’s laser-friendly denim solutions
Specialty chemicals group Archroma will be presenting its latest innovative dyes and processes for jeans at PV Denim, in Milan this week, and at Denimsandjeans in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on June 25 and 26.

This season’s feature product is Denim Halo, which combines Dirsol RD p, a new pretreatment, with Archroma’s aniline-free indigo, sulfur or biosynthetic dyes. Together, they create laser-friendly denim that enables mills to create authentic distressed denim looks with pronounced highs and lows and a significantly lower environmental footprint. This solution is also said to reduce yarn shrinkage and preserve fibre strength.

To highlight the possibilities of the Denim Halo and Diresul Evolution Black combination, Archroma will be presenting a new capsule collection made from premium fabrics produced by Kipas Denim and finished on Jeanologia machinery.

“From timeless indigo to trend-driven finishes, we are evolving denim with processing solutions that preserve the fabric’s iconic appeal while minimising its impact,” said Dhirendra Gautam, head of global marketing and strategy at Archroma.
