R-TypE: Rajby’s fabrics through a historic lens
A collection designed and created by Mohsin Sajid’s Endrime brand, made with fabric from Pakistan-based Rajby and finished by Tonello in Italy made its recent debut, “bridging vintage authenticity with contemporary aesthetics”.
R-TypE (named to include R, T and E) is a collection of 30 pieces, inspired by denim and garments from from the 1870s to 1930s, with period-correct fits and clean constructions.
The mill has also introduced its fabric collections for spring-summer 2027. Air Loom is a collection of soft, breathable fabrics, blended with fibres including Tencel and Circulose, creating a gentle drape and barely-there feel, Rajby’s marketing manager, Kanwal Noor, tells us.
Blue Echo draws inspiration from the imperfections of vintage, celebrating Y2K denim; Mosaic offers distinct weaves, while Palette is a collection of coloured fabrics and overdyes.
The Blackbox collection focuses on innovation in fibres and technology, featuring Marmara hemp, Circulose, Tencel, Tencel matt and Tencel HV100 – Lenzing’s latest denim-focused offering. “We view all our collections as sustainable, so we concentrate on innovation,” added Ms Noor.
