SaXcell, a Dutch company that makes cellulose pulp from waste cotton textiles, has named one of its co-founders, Pramod Agrawal, its new chief executive. He replaces Erik Van Der Weerd, who held the position for the past three years. Mr Van Der Weerd will be staying on to oversee the establishment of the company’s first production plant in Enschede.
This Spring, Armedangels launched its first jeans made from SaXcell lyocell, using a denim fabric woven by Bossa in Turkey.
