New Levi’s set-up in Colombia generated €30 million in year one

The move that Levi Strauss & Co made in 2024 to re-establish brand-owned stores in Colombia resulted in sales of just over €30 million.

It announced its intention to buy back 40 stores in Colombia that had previously been owned by the brand in April 2024. It pointed out that it also had 10 stores in Colombia that were run by franchisees, taking the total of Levi’s stores in the South American country to 50.

The figure of €30 million comes from results that the Levi’s subsidiary company in Spain and Portugal has reported for 2024. The Barcelona-based subsidiary has filed total figures for 2024 of just over €90 million, making it clear that just under €60 million of this came from sales in Spain and Portugal, and the rest from the new operation in Columbia.
