Madewell taps Talley Smith for made-in-LA collection

US brand Madewell has joined forces with denim designer and consultant Benjamin Talley Smith for a limited-edition women’s capsule.
The Benjamin Talley Smith x Madewell collection is made in Los Angeles by up to 30 skilled artisans, with a custom label hand-sewn on a vintage shuttle loom.
The seven-piece capsule spans denim, jackets and knits, priced $88–$398.
Mr Talley Smith is also the founder of Khaite Jeans and designs denim lines for brands including Helmut Lang and Walmart.
