Textiles traceability technology provider FibreTrace, headquartered in Singapore, recently achieved Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification across its traceability pigments.

Exclusively manufactured by Germany’s Leuchtstoffwerk Breitungen, the company's inert, inorganic and ceramic luminescent pigments are made of rare earth minerals typically encountered in renewables and solar energy, FibreTrace said. 

Chief executive of the traceability firm, Shannon Mercer, commented: “We have always been confident in our pigment’s safety and durability throughout the global textile production process. To officially have our GOTS certification allows us to share this confidence with our brands.”
